BRS leader T Harish Rao alleged that the law and order situation in Telangana has deteriorated completely. He criticised Chief Minister Revanth Reddy, stating that he had failed not only as Chief Minister but also as the state Home Minister. Harish Rao pointed out that according to NCRB data, Telangana recorded 27,230 cybercrime cases in 2024, making it one of the states with the highest number of cyber offences in the country.
He also alleged that the government had failed to ensure women’s safety in Hyderabad. Harish Rao said recent police operations exposed the worsening security situation in the city. He advised the government to focus not only on conducting high level review meetings but also on maintaining law and order effectively at the ground level.
