Handed over my son to the police – Union Minister Bandi Sanjay

Union Minister Bandi Sanjay has taken a key decision in connection with allegations against his son Bandi Bhagirath. He stated that, out of respect for the law, his son was handed over to the police for investigation through his lawyers. He emphasized that the law is equal for both his son and any ordinary citizen, adding that the decision was taken with the belief in “Satyameva Jayate.”

Bandi Sanjay said his son has repeatedly claimed innocence. He explained that although there was an intention to hand him over immediately after the case was registered, some delay occurred based on legal advice and submission of evidence. He added that lawyers believe the case will be dismissed and bail will be granted after reviewing the evidence.

He further stated that, considering it inappropriate to delay further, his son was handed over for police investigation. He expressed complete faith in the judiciary and said that although a court decision is expected on Monday, he chose to act earlier out of respect for the legal system.
