Governor-in-charge arrives in Chennai, key discussions on government formation

Tamil Nadu Governor in charge Rajendra Vishwanath Arlekar is arriving in Chennai today following the recent election results. With no party securing a clear majority, he is expected to hold consultations with officials and legal experts regarding the next steps for government formation.

A key meeting is scheduled at Raj Bhavan to discuss possible options for forming the government. As he also holds additional charge of Kerala, where a new government is set to be formed, the Governor will later travel to Thiruvananthapuram to oversee developments there.
