

Andhra Pradesh Governor S. Abdul Nazeer addressed the State Legislative Assembly, outlining the government’s commitment to the welfare of weaker sections and women. He stated that a digital system has been introduced for the effective implementation of welfare schemes and that 205 Anna Canteens are currently providing affordable meals to the needy, with more set to be launched soon.
The Governor emphasized the Swarna Andhra 2047 vision to ensure housing for all, focused development plans for tribal communities, and key initiatives for minority welfare and small-scale industries. He highlighted efforts to transform Andhra Pradesh into an IT hub, create employment opportunities for youth, upgrade technical education, establish national-level institutions, implement universal health insurance coverage up to ₹25 lakh per family, effectively execute the Thalli Ki Vandanam scheme, and make the state drug-free.
