Telangana Government Whip Adi Srinivas has launched a sharp attack on BRS working president K.T. Rama Rao (KTR) over the Formula E race case. Srinivas questioned KTR’s decision to approach the court with a discharge petition, recalling that the BRS leader had previously described the case as insignificant and challenged authorities to proceed with their investigation. The government whip alleged that KTR now appeared reluctant to face the inquiry and was attempting to avoid the legal process. These remarks represent Srinivas’s political allegations and do not establish guilt.
Srinivas also demanded an explanation regarding the reported payment of ₹54.88 crore to Formula E Operations, asking under whose authorisation the amount was transferred. He argued that if KTR believed he had committed no wrongdoing, he should establish his position through the legal process rather than seek to exit the case at an early stage. Srinivas further referred to other allegations against KTR and claimed that the public should closely examine his conduct. He expressed confidence in the judiciary, stating that the court proceedings would bring the relevant facts to light. The allegations and questions raised by Srinivas remain his stated position; the case must be assessed on the basis of evidence and judicial findings.
