The BRS has strongly objected to the registration of another case against party leader Manne Krishank. The party said a case had already been registered in connection with Krishank’s allegations concerning the business and financial affairs of Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy’s family, while another case was subsequently registered at Gopalapuram Police Station over the same issue. Krishank was arrested by the police on October 6 and taken to Gandhi Hospital for a medical examination, with reports indicating that he was subsequently to be produced before a court.
The BRS questioned the registration of multiple cases in connection with the issue and alleged that Krishank was being targeted for raising questions about the Chief Minister’s family. The party accused the Congress government of using police cases against Opposition leaders and demanded an end to what it described as political vendetta. It also called on the government to respond to the allegations raised by Krishank. These claims are allegations made by the BRS, while the cases and investigation remain subject to the legal process.
