Goodbye to Politics: J.D. Lakshmi Narayana Joins Megha Group Company

Former IPS officer and ex-CBI Director J.D. Lakshmi Narayana has bid farewell to politics. He has taken up the role of Vice President – Operations at EV Trans Private Limited, an affiliate of Megha Engineering. The company manufactures electric buses under the brand name “Olectra” and supplies them to various state road transport corporations across the country.

J.D. Lakshmi Narayana gained nationwide recognition during the investigation into cases involving YSRCP chief and former Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy. He later resigned from his service and entered politics. Although he contested the Visakhapatnam Lok Sabha seat on behalf of JanaSena, he was unsuccessful. He subsequently launched his own political party but did not achieve significant success. It is now understood that he has stepped away from politics and chosen to pursue a career in the corporate sector.
