Chief Minister Chandrababu stated that effective governance in the state can be achieved only through comprehensive integration of modern technology. He emphasized that all government departments must be prepared to align with this approach.
He said the government’s objective is to ensure that public services are delivered easily and efficiently to citizens. Administrative procedures and regulations would be simplified, and if necessary, certain laws would also be amended to make governance more citizen-friendly.
During a review meeting on Real-Time Governance held at his camp office on Monday, the Chief Minister directed officials to accelerate automation in administration and to promote digital awareness among citizens. He stressed that once technology is fully implemented, people should not face difficulties in payments or accessing government services.
He also instructed that the state’s 8.20 lakh employees and officials undergo skill enhancement training to improve efficiency. Best practices currently implemented in welfare schemes and development projects should be adopted across all government programs to build public confidence.
The Chief Minister further directed that food served in Anna Canteens should be more hygienic and tasty. He called for improved food quality in BC, SC, and ST hostels and insisted that high standards be maintained in all residential facilities.
To ensure women’s safety, he asked officials to strengthen visible policing. He also directed the Home Department to regularly inform the public through media about ongoing efforts to eliminate ganja and other narcotic substances in the state.
