Pemmasani Chandrasekhar, the Guntur MP and Union Minister of State, has topped a performance survey of all 25 MPs from Andhra Pradesh with an impressive score of 8.9. A first-time MP who entered politics only in 2024 after returning from the United States, he has quickly earned strong public approval despite having no prior experience in parliamentary or state politics.
His success is attributed to a calm, non-confrontational style: he avoids personal attacks and political mudslinging, focuses on people’s issues, and maintains regular contact with constituents. As the MP representing the Amaravati region, he has actively addressed farmers’ concerns about the capital project and pushed several visible development works (roads, flyovers, and public infrastructure) using both central funds and MPLADS. Voters have clearly noticed these sincere and result-oriented efforts, giving him the highest rating among all Andhra Pradesh MPs and making him a strong contender for the next election.
