BJP MP Etela Rajender stated that the central government is allocating funds to states without any discrimination, regardless of which party is in power. He made these remarks during a meeting convened by Chief Minister Revanth Reddy at Praja Bhavan on Monday to discuss pending issues with Members of Parliament. Following party directives, BJP MPs Etela Rajender and Konda Vishweshwar Reddy attended the meeting and highlighted key concerns regarding fund allocation and welfare schemes.
Etela emphasized that criticism claiming BJP MPs are failing to secure funds is unfounded, as the Centre is extending financial support consistently. He urged the state government to ensure that all ration card holders are covered under the Ayushman Bharat scheme and that senior citizens above 70 years benefit from the Vaya Vandana health scheme. He also advised the state not to rely solely on the Centre for paddy procurement and to explore alternative arrangements for better management.
