Former minister and BRS leader Errabelli Dayakar Rao criticised the Congress government, alleging that it had deceived the people by failing to implement its promises during its 1,000-day rule. He participated in a protest organised by BRS units of Devaruppula, Kodakandla and Palakurthi mandals at the Palakurthi constituency headquarters. Errabelli demanded the immediate implementation of the six guarantees and 420 promises announced by the Congress during the elections. He said a 420-foot flex display and distribution of pending-promise cards in villages were being organised to remind the government of its commitments.
Errabelli alleged that the Congress government had ignored promises including monthly financial assistance of Rs 2,500 for women, pensions, Rythu Bharosa, loan waivers, Rythu Bima, crop bonuses, financial assistance for agricultural labourers and unemployment allowance. He said BRS would continue its protests and movements on behalf of the people until the government fulfilled its promises. He also remarked that Chief Minister Revanth Reddy’s statements and those of ‘Tupaki Ramu’ were the same. BRS leaders, youth and social media representatives, and party workers attended the protest.
