

K. T. Rama Rao, the working president of the BRS party, held a key meeting with in-charges of Assembly constituencies under the Hyderabad and Secunderabad Parliamentary segments at Telangana Bhavan. During the meeting, he issued important directions regarding the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of voter lists and the party membership drive. He emphasized the need for leaders to remain alert at the grassroots level to prevent any irregularities in the electoral rolls.
KTR cautioned that rival parties like the BJP and Congress might attempt to remove genuine voters’ names and urged party cadres to safeguard voting rights. He stressed strict monitoring to prevent fake and duplicate votes from being registered. He also highlighted the crucial role of Booth Level Assistants (BLAs) in protecting eligible voters’ rights. Additionally, corporator aspirants were advised to stay actively engaged with the public and strongly counter the anti-people policies of opposition parties. The meeting was attended by MLAs, in-charges, cantonment board members, and senior leaders.
