Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Vijay faced sharp criticism from senior DMK leader and Tiruchendur MLA Anitha Radhakrishnan over the functioning of the TVK coalition government. He claimed that the present government would not survive even for another six months and predicted that DMK chief M. K. Stalin would soon return as Chief Minister.
During a party event in southern Tamil Nadu, Anitha Radhakrishnan openly challenged TVK leader Adhav Arjuna to resign from his MLA post and contest against him in Tiruchendur. He also criticised the voters of Kolathur, where former Chief Minister Stalin had lost in the previous election. Political tensions between the DMK and TVK continue to intensify across the state.
