Displaced Residents Seek Inclusion in Musi Project, Submit Petition to Dy CM

Residents displaced under the Musi River development project have requested the government to include them as stakeholders in the initiative. They met Deputy Chief Minister Bhatti Vikramarka Mallu and submitted a representation. During the meeting at Praja Bhavan in Hyderabad, the residents stated that they support the development works but urged the government to ensure justice in rehabilitation. They also submitted three proposals for consideration.

Responding to their request, the Deputy CM assured that the proposals would be examined from a humanitarian perspective and appropriate action would be taken. Officials have been directed to review the proposals and submit a report to the cabinet sub-committee.
