The people of Telangana have never cast an evil eye . Pawan Kalyan, speak carefully

Telangana Jagruthi President Kalvakuntla Kavitha garu responds to Pawan Kalyan's comments For the sake of a separate Telangana state, our children even sacrificed their lives. Yet, Pawan Kalyan garu has been speaking against Telangana from that day till today. He is alleging that Konaseema was ruined because of the “evil eye” of Telangana leaders. The people of Telangana never cast an evil eye on anyone, we only wanted Telangana to be like Konaseema. It has been twelve years since our state was formed, and we have always said  “Jai Telangana – Jai Andhra”, sincerely wishing that Andhra Pradesh should also prosper.

If the neighbouring state does well, our eyes don’t burn with jealousy we don’t covet anyone’s progress. I myself spoke in Parliament demanding Special Category Status for Andhra Pradesh. We want to do well, but we never wish ill on our neighbour. Had we harboured such thoughts, the very nature of the Telangana movement would have been different. Our children lost their lives, but they never raised a hand against anyone from another state.

Back then, you spoke as a film actor and it might have passed, but now you are the Deputy Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh. Your words will be attributed to the people of Andhra. Therefore, I request Pawan Kalyan garu to think responsibly and speak with caution.
