Dhanush Political Entry Sparks Fresh Buzz.. What Is His Next Move?

Speculation about actor Dhanush’s possible entry into Tamil Nadu politics has intensified once again. Several reports claimed that he was preparing to launch a political party under the name Tamilaga Ezhuchi Kazhagam. However, representatives close to Dhanush have denied that the party name has been registered with the Election Commission. They have indicated that any decision regarding his political plans will be officially communicated only after the necessary preparations are completed.

At the same time, Dhanush’s fan welfare network has reportedly expanded with district-level appointments, membership activities and welfare programmes, adding to the political speculation. There are also reports suggesting that he could focus on the 2031 Tamil Nadu Assembly elections rather than the upcoming local-body or parliamentary polls. However, these plans have not been officially confirmed by Dhanush. Clarity is expected only when he formally announces the party’s name, flag, ideology, office-bearers and electoral strategy.
