

Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan met Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu at the latter’s residence in Undavalli to review key issues related to Panchayati Raj, Rural Development, RWS, and the Forest Department. The leaders discussed the progress of Jal Jeevan Mission works, utilization of funds, allocation for Panchayati Raj roads, and constituency-wise distribution of development funds. The meeting was held as part of the decision to review important governance matters during the ongoing Assembly session.
During the discussion, the Deputy CM briefed the Chief Minister on the implementation of Magic Drain works in various gram panchayats and suggested expanding the model statewide to strengthen sanitation management. He also raised the issue of desilting drainage systems under the Irrigation Department and urged that the works be completed during summer before the cropping season begins. Details of the Forest Department’s Hanuman Project were also presented, with both leaders reviewing steps for effective implementation.
