CS Briefs Cabinet on Census 2027 Preparations in Telangana

The cabinet of Telangana reviewed the preparations for conducting the Census 2027 as directed by the Central Government. Officials briefed the ministers on the action plan, stating that the first phase house listing will be carried out from May 11 to June 9 according to the prescribed schedule.

The survey will follow a 34-question format issued by the Centre. Around 89,000 personnel, including enumerators and nodal officers, will participate in the process across the state. The second phase of the census is scheduled to be conducted in February 2027.
