A criminal case has been registered against K. T. Rama Rao following controversial remarks made during the “Rythu Sangrama Sadasu” held in Hanamkonda. His comments allegedly targeting Rahul Gandhi and A. Revanth Reddy triggered a major political controversy across the state. The remarks drew criticism from ruling party leaders and intensified political tensions in Telangana.
Nayani Rajender Reddy, MLA of Warangal West, lodged a complaint at Subedari Police Station alleging that KTR made inappropriate comments against individuals holding high constitutional positions. Following directions from the Police Commissioner, authorities registered criminal cases under Sections 504 and 505 of the BNS Act against KTR. The issue has now become a fresh flashpoint in Telangana politics.
