The court has sent senior YSRCP leader Ambati Rambabu to 14 days of judicial remand. He was arrested in a case related to inappropriate remarks made against Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu. After his arrest, the police conducted medical tests and produced him before the Guntur Mobile Court.
According to the remand report submitted by Nallapadu police, Ambati Rambabu is facing a total of 16 criminal cases across the state. The report stated that he repeatedly makes harsh comments and tries to create controversies. After hearing the arguments, the court ordered 14 days of remand. He is expected to be shifted to Rajahmundry Central Jail shortly.
