The counting process for the ongoing Telangana Gram Panchayat elections is currently underway. The procedure began with the counting of postal ballots. Polling was conducted from 7 AM to 1 PM, and vote counting commenced at 2 PM. According to the State Election Commission, the first phase of the Panchayat elections recorded an overall voter turnout of 79.15%.
The district-wise voter turnout recorded is as follows:
Yadadri Bhuvanagiri: 87.93% (highest in the state)
Medak: 86%
Warangal: 81.2%
Mulugu: 73.57%
Hanumakonda: 75.6%
Jangaon: 71.96%
Suryapet: 87.77%
Nalgonda: 81.63%
Nirmal: 79.81%
Adilabad: 69.10%
Mancherial: 77.34%
