Former TTD Chairman Bhuma Karunakar Reddy has made serious allegations over the ACB raids and arrest of TTD Deputy EO Lokanatham Yadav in Tirupati. He claimed that there was a conspiracy behind the action and alleged that Lokanatham was targeted due to internal differences involving certain TTD officials and the chairman. Bhuma questioned the sequence of events, noting that the ACB DSP initially stated that the raids were conducted based on a complaint and with court permission, while a later ACB press note reportedly referred to information shared by the CBI.
Bhuma further alleged that Lokanatham Yadav’s name was not mentioned in the CBI chargesheet and that he had not even been called for questioning. He questioned how the CBI information was cited as a basis for the ACB action if his name did not appear in the investigation records. Accusing the coalition government of using the TTD for political purposes, Bhuma described the action against Lokanatham as part of a conspiracy. Responses from the government, the ACB and other concerned authorities are awaited.
