The Congress party has emerged dominant in the municipal elections, securing control in 90 out of 116 municipalities and establishing a strong lead across the state. In contrast, the Bharat Rashtra Samithi was limited to just 12 municipalities, while results in another 12 municipalities remained hung, indicating closely contested outcomes in several areas.
The Bharatiya Janata Party managed to win only one municipality, though it secured the highest number of wards in Narayanpet. Meanwhile, the All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen registered a strong performance in Bhainsa, winning the highest number of wards there, reflecting localized electoral influence.
