

Telangana IT and Industries Minister Duddilla Sridhar Babu clarified that the confusion surrounding the lands belonging to Sri Sharada Peetham in Kokapet arose solely due to a lack of proper information. He affirmed that the land unquestionably belongs to the Peetham and assured complete government support for its development and spiritual activities. During his visit to Sri Sharada Peetham on Sunday, the minister inspected the Raj Shyamala Ammavari temple and other structures before holding a special meeting with Uttar Peethadhipathi Swatmanandendra Saraswati Swamiji.
Speaking to the media, the minister stated that the state government respects all religions equally and is always ready to correct mistakes whenever they occur. He said the issue was promptly rectified once the facts were verified and added that measures would be taken to prevent similar incidents in the future. Criticizing certain BJP and BRS leaders, he alleged that they were indulging in political propaganda by misusing religious sentiments. He emphasized that the government does not follow a “bulldozer culture” and is committed only to protecting government lands from encroachments. He also appealed to the public not to believe misinformation regarding the Bapu Ghat development project.
