BRS working president K.T. Rama Rao (KTR) has criticized the Telangana government led by Chief Minister Revanth Reddy, accusing it of failing to implement the Metro Phase-2 expansion and calling it a sign of administrative inefficiency.
In a statement on Monday, KTR responded to remarks made by the Chief Minister regarding former CM K. Chandrashekar Rao and the BRS party. He alleged that the government is spreading misinformation to cover up its failure in securing Metro Phase-2 approval from the Centre.
He further claimed that during BRS rule, major progress was made in Metro Phase-1, with 72% of the work completed after 2014. He also accused the current government of stalling key expansion plans, including the Shamshabad Metro, and demanded that the Chief Minister apologize to the people of Telangana.
