

Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy held a high-level review meeting with senior officials at MCRHRD on strengthening the state's revenue mobilisation. He directed all departments to focus seriously on achieving the revenue targets outlined in the state budget. The Chief Minister instructed agencies, including HMDA and TGIIC, along with the Commercial Taxes, Excise, Mining, and other departments, to eliminate revenue leakages and improve collections.
Revanth Reddy also directed officials to establish a dedicated chasing cell for continuous follow-up on revenue collection. He stressed the use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) to integrate beneficiary databases with the Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) system, prepare realistic budgets based on actual requirements, prioritise land acquisition, and enhance departmental efficiency. He assured full government support to all departments while emphasising that negligence in revenue generation and resource mobilisation would not be tolerated.
