

On the occasion of Telangana Formation Day, Chief Minister Revanth Reddy paid tributes to the martyrs who sacrificed their lives for the statehood movement. He also expressed gratitude to Sonia Gandhi and Manmohan Singh for their role in the formation of Telangana. The Chief Minister stated that the government has been working towards fulfilling public aspirations over the past two and a half years through various welfare and development initiatives.

Highlighting key achievements, he said that Rs.20,616 crore was spent on farm loan waivers and Rs.27,529 crore was deposited under the Rythu Bharosa scheme. He also noted that women’s groups received interest-free loans worth Rs.60,000 crore, while free RTC bus travel saved women nearly Rs.10,000 crore. Revanth Reddy further mentioned government job recruitments, Indiramma housing, new ration cards, and reiterated the goal of transforming Telangana into a one-trillion-dollar economy by 2034.
