CM Revanth Reddy to Visit Delhi Today

Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy is scheduled to leave Hyderabad for New Delhi on Monday morning for a two-day visit. He will attend an event on September 28 and participate in the Congress Working Committee meeting on September 29. The Chief Minister is expected to return to Hyderabad on September 30 and attend a public meeting in Sircilla. Recent reports said he is likely to discuss issues concerning Telangana during his Delhi engagements.

Meanwhile, Revanth Reddy highlighted the Dr Manmohan Singh Earth Sciences University of Telangana established at Kothagudem in Bhadradri Kothagudem district. The university was inaugurated on December 2, 2025, and the state government describes it as India’s first Earth Sciences university. The institution offers specialised programmes related to earth sciences, mining and environmental fields, the Chief Minister said. Responding to senior journalist Rajdeep Sardesai’s suggestion regarding an institution in Manmohan Singh’s name, Revanth invited him to visit the university during his next trip to Telangana.
