Telangana CM Revanth Reddy launched a scathing attack on Union Minister Kishan Reddy and BRS leader KTR, calling them the “Bad Brothers of Hyderabad.” He accused them of deliberately blocking developmental projects like metro rail expansion, Godavari water diversion, elevated corridors, and the futuristic city plan. Revanth claimed that while the Congress governments laid the foundation for Hyderabad’s growth between 2004–2014, the BRS and BJP regimes have only stalled progress. “They built a Secretariat, Pragathi Bhavan, Command Control Center, and Kaleshwaram — none of which created jobs or improved irrigation,” he said.
He also slammed KTR over the city’s drug menace, alleged misuse of surveillance systems, and encroachment of lakes. Revanth accused both KCR and KTR of turning Hyderabad into a center for corruption and substance abuse while claiming credit for projects built during Congress rule.
The CM urged Jubilee Hills voters to “choose wisely” and “give Congress one more chance to restore Hyderabad’s glory.”
