

Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy chaired a high-level review meeting on the Musi Riverfront Development Project at the Bodhi Pavilion of MCRHRD. Minister Ponguleti Srinivasa Reddy, MP Vem Narender Reddy, Special Chief Secretary Jayesh Ranjan, Musi Riverfront Development Project MD Narasimha Reddy, senior HMDA officials, and other government representatives attended the meeting. The discussions primarily focused on the implementation of the first phase of the ambitious Musi Riverfront Project.
During the review, the Chief Minister directed officials to allot double-bedroom houses to families residing in the Musi riverbed. He also instructed that landowners willing to part with their land should be provided either Transferable Development Rights (TDR) or appropriate compensation. The state government will relocate structures situated on defence land required for the Gandhi Sarovar Project. He further proposed establishing a Musi Experience Centre at Necklace Road to showcase the project's vision, planned developments, and to gather public feedback.
