

As part of a broader initiative to develop temples along the Godavari river stretch, Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy performed the groundbreaking ceremony for the renovation of the Sri Kaleshwara Mukteshwara Swamy Temple in Jayashankar Bhupalpally district. The development works, estimated at ₹198 crore, aim to upgrade temple infrastructure on a permanent basis before the upcoming Godavari Pushkaralu. The Chief Minister also laid the foundation stone for the construction of a new bus station in Kaleshwaram.
Several ministers including Uttam Kumar Reddy, Duddilla Sridhar Babu, Ponnam Prabhakar, Vivek Venkataswamy, Adluri Lakshman Kumar, and Ponguleti Srinivasa Reddy attended the event, along with public representatives, National Dam Safety Authority Chairman Anil Jain, and officials. Prior to the ceremony, the Chief Minister offered prayers at the temple, where priests blessed him with Vedic rituals.
