

Chief Minister Revanth Reddy held a Zoom meeting from the United States with senior party leaders to review strategies for the upcoming municipal elections. The meeting was attended by PCC President Mahesh Kumar Goud, party in-charge Meenakshi Natarajan, several ministers, and senior leaders. The Chief Minister set an ambitious target of winning 90 percent of the municipalities and urged the leadership to work in close coordination to achieve the goal.
CM Revanth Reddy directed that transparency and social justice must be ensured while issuing B-Forms to candidates. He asked ministers to be flexible in allotting tickets to BC candidates even in general seats where they have strong winning prospects. Stressing the need to avoid rebel candidates, the CM instructed leaders to focus on reconciliation and personally persuade dissatisfied aspirants. He also emphasized coordinated campaigning involving both senior and young leaders, and announced that he would actively participate in election campaigning from next month 3. PCC chief Mahesh Kumar Goud presented survey reports during the meeting and urged special focus on areas where BJP and BRS have a strong chance.
