

Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy expressed heartfelt gratitude to the people of the state for delivering a resounding victory to the Congress party in the municipal elections held across 116 municipalities and seven corporations. In a statement issued after the results, he described the mandate as a reflection of the tireless efforts of lakhs of Congress workers and their unwavering commitment to the party. He dedicated the victory to every party worker who carried the party flag with dedication and took government welfare schemes to the grassroots level. The Chief Minister said the people’s verdict endorses the government’s two years of public-oriented governance, welfare initiatives for the poor and middle classes, and development programs implemented with global vision and planning.
Revanth Reddy stated that the victory has increased the government’s responsibility to ensure transparent governance, sustained development, and enhanced welfare measures. He assured that every municipality and corporation would be developed further to uphold the trust reposed by the people. Meanwhile, AICC General Secretary Priyanka Gandhi congratulated the Chief Minister on the party’s impressive performance in the Telangana municipal elections. During a courtesy meeting in New Delhi on Friday evening, Revanth Reddy briefed her on the election results and attributed the success to the public’s satisfaction with the state government’s welfare and development initiatives. He later returned to Hyderabad after the meeting.
