The Zoom meeting chaired by Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy on municipal elections concluded with clear directions to party leaders to focus on winnability and collective effort. The Chief Minister instructed leaders to issue B-Forms only to candidates with a strong chance of victory and cautioned against distributing tickets based on personal preferences. He said the Jubilee Hills and Cantonment by-election victories proved that united teamwork leads to success.
Revanth Reddy emphasized that the same collective spirit must be carried into the municipal elections. He directed leaders not to announce chairpersons and mayors in advance, stating that such decisions should be taken strictly based on social equations and political balance. Stressing discipline, he urged leaders to work together, avoid internal differences, and ensure a coordinated campaign to secure victories across municipalities.
