CM Revanth Lays Foundation Stone for Ande Sri Memorial Park

Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy laid the foundation stone for the memorial park of renowned poet and Telangana state anthem writer Dr. Ande Sri at Ghatkesar on the occasion of his birth anniversary. The Chief Minister said that Ande Sri was not just a poet, singer, and activist for him, but a close soul connection who inspired him throughout his journey.

Revanth Reddy stated that songs written by Ande Sri, including “Jaya Jayahe Telangana,” were not just songs but powerful voices that fueled the Telangana movement. He said the government would continue to work with the inspiration of Ande Sri and Gaddar. The Chief Minister also recalled honouring nine families of Telangana movement activists by providing financial assistance of Rs. 1 crore each, stating that their sacrifices would always be remembered.
