

The Telangana government has taken a key decision to ensure the smooth conduct of the upcoming municipal elections in the state. Chief Minister Revanth Reddy has issued orders appointing in-charges for the municipal polls. To streamline the election process, responsibilities have been assigned to ministers on a Parliament constituency-wise basis.
Party sources believe that this decision will improve coordination at the grassroots level and provide clear guidance to party workers and local leadership. The appointments are aimed at accelerating election-related preparations across municipalities and municipal corporations.
According to the constituency-wise allocation, Sudarshan Reddy has been appointed in-charge for Adilabad, Uttam Kumar Reddy for Nizamabad, Komatireddy Venkata Reddy for Malkajgiri, Sridhar Babu for Chevella, Vivek for Medak, Tummala Nageswara Rao for Karimnagar, Jupally Krishna Rao for Peddapalli, Adluri Laxman for Nalgonda, Seethakka for Bhongir, Ponguleti for Warangal, Ponnam Prabhakar for Mahabubnagar, Azharuddin for Zaheerabad, Vakiti Srihari for Nagarkurnool, and Konda Surekha for Khammam.
