

Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu is scheduled to tour Anantapur district today. He will participate in a key program at Yadiki, where he will interact with irrigation association members and farmers. During the visit, the Chief Minister will also engage with farmers benefiting from the Handri-Neeva Project and discuss water availability through canal expansion. Key topics such as water security in the state, reservoir storage levels, and groundwater resources will also be reviewed.
As part of his tour, the Chief Minister will inspect the Pendekallu Reservoir at Vemulapadu. He will review the pre-monsoon dry sowing practices, including the half-moon cultivation method. Later, he will hold a review meeting with party leaders and cadre from the Tadipatri constituency. The Chief Minister is expected to provide direction on a 100-day action plan for irrigation associations before returning to Amaravati by night.
