Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu lauded his ministers during the ongoing cabinet meeting for their prompt and coordinated response during Cyclone Montha. He noted that due to the strong teamwork - from village-level officials up to the state machinery — loss of life and property were substantially mitigated. Continuous monitoring from the RTG center and the use of technology, the CM added, helped make relief operations more effective.
The cabinet is set to discuss around 70 agenda items, including approval of major investment proposals worth several thousand crores, assessment of Montha’s impact and relief measures, and preparations for the investment conclave scheduled in Visakhapatnam on the 14th and 15th. Ministers may also clear the Quantum Computing Policy (2025–30) and green-light land-allocation plans for the proposed Drone City. The CM praised the dedication and team spirit shown by ministers and officials.
