BJP MP DK Aruna launched a strong attack on the Congress government, alleging that the Chief Minister approached the court out of fear of defeat in Khairatabad. She accused both the Congress and BRS of indulging in what she described as low-level politics and alleged that the two parties were encouraging defections by elected representatives. Aruna demanded that MLAs who switched parties should resign and seek a fresh mandate from the people.
Aruna further alleged that Telangana had been pushed into debt under the Congress and BRS governments. She said elected representatives who changed parties should take moral responsibility and face the electorate again. She also criticised the practice of encouraging political defections, describing it as contrary to democratic values.
