Telangana Jagriti president Kalvakuntla Kavitha received major relief in the Delhi liquor case after the Rouse Avenue Court granted her a clean chit and dismissed all charges filed by the Central Bureau of Investigation. Issuing the orders, CBI Special Court Judge Jitender Singh stated that there was no evidence to prove wrongdoing by Kavitha or the other 23 accused, noting that the prosecution failed to substantiate its allegations.
In the same Delhi liquor scam case, former Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal also received significant relief after being discharged by the Rouse Avenue Court. The court similarly discharged former minister Manish Sisodia, clearly observing that there was insufficient evidence to support the charges against the accused and effectively closing the case.
