CJP Protest Enters Day 32: Party Announces Four Key Demands, Vows to Continue Agitation

The ongoing protests led by the Cockroach Janata Party (CJP) in Delhi have entered their 32nd day, with the organisation expanding its list of demands. Party representative Ashutosh Ranka said no FIRs or legal action should be initiated against those who participated peacefully in the July 20 demonstrations. He assured protesters that the movement would stand by peaceful participants and claimed that attempts to suppress the agitation had only strengthened it further.

Ranka said the movement is now centred on four key demands: the release of Sonam Wangchuk, the resignation of Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan, ₹1 crore compensation for the families of NEET aspirants who died by suicide, and no cases against peaceful protesters from the July 20 demonstrations. He also criticised the police response and restrictions imposed during the earlier protest. The latest developments come shortly after the Centre held its first formal talks with CJP representatives amid the continuing agitation.
