BRS MLA Chinta Prabhakar has strongly criticised Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy, alleging that he has become a major problem for the state. He claimed that the public meeting in Sangareddy was conducted like a Congress party programme and said he was not even informed about the event despite being the local MLA. Prabhakar alleged that the Chief Minister insulted not only him but also the people of Sangareddy. Speaking at a media conference in Telangana Bhavan, he also accused Revanth Reddy of using inappropriate language and alleged that preventive arrests were made during the visit.
Prabhakar also criticised the Chief Minister for allegedly bringing up claims related to black magic and superstition while holding a constitutional position. He alleged that Revanth Reddy behaved as though he were campaigning for an election alongside the defeated Congress MLA in Sangareddy. Questioning the political standing of Jagga Reddy, Prabhakar asked why the people of Sangareddy had rejected him if he was as popular as claimed. He also levelled allegations of land encroachment and questioned the placement of the Chief Minister’s and ministers’ photographs on ration and smart cards.
