Speculation over a possible cabinet reshuffle in the central government and the BJP has intensified after Prime Minister Narendra Modi returned to India on Saturday night following his three-nation tour. Controversies including Ayodhya donation issues, E20 fuel concerns, the NEET paper leak, and environmentalist Sonam Wangchuk’s hunger strike demanding Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan’s resignation have fueled discussions about corrective measures.
Reports suggest that the Prime Minister may seek resignations from all Union ministers, retaining some while inducting new faces. Names such as Nirmala Sitharaman, Nitin Gadkari, Manohar Lal Khattar, Hardeep Singh Puri, Bhupender Yadav, and Dharmendra Pradhan are being widely discussed. There is also speculation about Amit Shah being elevated as Deputy Prime Minister. Meanwhile, several ministers are reportedly clearing pending files amid uncertainty.
