Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu has been selected for the prestigious Business Reformer of the Year – 2025 award by The Economic Times. Leaders of the TDP, government officials, ministers and party members across the state expressed happiness over this honour. Members of the Nara family also shared their joy.
However, Chandrababu Naidu made thoughtful remarks about awards and honours. He said he has never worked for recognition and finds true happiness in doing his duty. According to him, people’s satisfaction with his governance is the biggest honour he values.
He also revealed for the first time that several foreign and Indian universities had earlier offered him honorary doctorates in appreciation of his work, but he politely declined them. He stated that he had never accepted such honours before. Thanking The Economic Times for the award, Chandrababu said it was made possible because of the hard work of officials, support from ministers and strong backing from people at the ground level.
