

Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu expressed deep shock over the tragic road accident that occurred in Madina, Saudi Arabia. Responding through a post on his X account, he said the incident was extremely painful and conveyed his heartfelt condolences to the families of those who lost their lives. He wished for peace to the departed souls and strength for the families during this difficult time.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi also reacted to the Saudi accident, calling it a heartbreaking tragedy. He conveyed his condolences to the families who lost their loved ones in the Madina road crash and prayed for the quick recovery of the injured.
According to initial reports, 54 people had travelled from India on the 9th of this month for a pilgrimage to Mecca. After completing their prayers, 46 of them were travelling by bus towards Madina on Monday. Near the Mufarrahath area between Badr and Madina, their bus collided with a tanker, leading to a massive fire. Several pilgrims lost their lives on the spot in the devastating accident.
