

Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu is scheduled to meet Prime Minister Narendra Modi and several Union ministers during his ongoing visit to Delhi. The Chief Minister has already met Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman. On the next leg of his Delhi engagements, Chandrababu is scheduled to hold meetings with Prime Minister Modi and Union ministers Amit Shah, Nitin Gadkari, C. R. Patil, Piyush Goyal and Sarbananda Sonowal.
During the meetings, the Chief Minister is expected to discuss Andhra Pradesh’s financial position, the Godavari-Cauvery river-linking proposal, funding for the Godavari Pushkaralu, the Polavaram project and various other development projects in the state. He is also expected to bring the situation arising from the impact of El Niño in Andhra Pradesh to the Centre’s attention and seek necessary support. Chandrababu Naidu will also participate in the CII Partnership Summit as part of his Delhi engagements.
