

Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu said his government is pursuing the Build AP vision with the aim of making the state one of India’s leading destinations for investments, industries and employment. Speaking at the CII Partnership Summit 2026 curtain raiser in Delhi alongside Union Commerce and Industry Minister Piyush Goyal, the Chief Minister outlined the state’s investment opportunities, ongoing projects and future development plans. Naidu said investment proposals signed at the previous partnership summit amounted to Rs 13.50 lakh crore and claimed that the state had attracted Rs 22 lakh crore in investments over the past 28 months. He stressed that the government was focusing on converting MoUs into actual investments rather than leaving them on paper.
Naidu highlighted projects in data centres, green energy, shipbuilding, drones, electronics, defence and advanced technology. He said the industrial incentives escrow account would be launched on November 12 and 13, while the government was also implementing measures to improve the ease of doing business. He outlined plans to expand green energy, strengthen water resources, develop Rayalaseema as a global horticulture hub and position Andhra Pradesh as a gateway to Southeast Asia. Union Minister Piyush Goyal said Andhra Pradesh has historically played an important role in India’s trade and development and praised the state’s focus on technology, investment and industrial growth. He said the Centre and states must work together as Team India to achieve the goal of a developed India.
