Congress MP Chamal Kiran Kumar Reddy said that the BRS was politically buried in Telangana following the Jubilee Hills election results. He alleged that under the pretext of issuing notices to K Chandrashekar Rao, attempts are being made to provoke sentiment and gain mileage in the upcoming municipal elections. He further stated that BRS leader Harish Rao is unable to digest the rise of Chief Minister Revanth Reddy, and is continuously making allegations through tweets and press meets, which he warned could be politically damaging.
Chamal Kiran Kumar Reddy said that while Harish Rao became a minister without being elected as an MLA, Revanth Reddy rose step by step through the political ranks. He termed Harish Rao a “lucky star” in politics and recalled that K Kavitha herself had alleged attempts to take over the party from KCR. He also criticised the KCR family, accusing them of securing jobs for family members while now spreading misleading narratives on employment. He questioned whether leaders remembered self-respect when figures like Gaddar, Etela Rajender, and Kodandaram were allegedly insulted.
