Cases Filed Against YSRCP Leaders in Clashes

YSR Congress Party (YSRCP) leader and former minister Vidadala Rajani has been booked following clashes between his supporters and TDP leaders on January 30. Acting on complaints from TDP leaders, Yadlapadu police registered a case against Rajani along with 21 other YSRCP supporters involved in the altercation.

Meanwhile, at Vinukonda, former YSRCP MLA Bolla Brahmanayudu has also been named in a police case. On January 31, Brahmanayudu and other YSRCP leaders conducted special prayers at the local Venkateswara Swamy temple. During the subsequent scuffle, a constable was allegedly assaulted and sustained injuries. Acting on the complaint, police registered cases against the former MLA and 27 other party leaders.
