

A case has been registered against Nizamabad MP Dharmapuri Arvind in connection with an incident that occurred at the Haricharan Marwadi School polling station (Booth No. 287) in Nizamabad. Allegations state that he entered the polling centre with prohibited still and video cameras while the polling process was underway. Following a complaint lodged by the concerned officials, the police registered a case and initiated an investigation.
According to the complaint, Arvind allegedly used abusive language against SI Gurram Narayana, Head Constable Govardhan, and Srinivasulu, who were on duty at the time. He is also accused of making objectionable and provocative remarks against the police personnel and of threatening staff members on duty, thereby obstructing official proceedings. The incident reportedly led to tense situations at the polling station.
In connection with the case, Crime No. 51/26 has been registered under Sections 132, 223, and 296(B) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS), along with Section 226 of the Telangana Municipalities Act, 2019, Town-1 SHO Raghupati stated. A detailed investigation is currently underway, and further legal action will be taken in accordance with the law, police officials said.
